Blackbird Industrial Ltd. was tasked with providing supervision, quality management, as well as key labor and equipment throughout the duration of the project. The project scope included : retaining wall removal, channel excavation, cellular concrete infill, conflicting utility removal/ re-installation, 100+/-m of epoxy coated sheet piling, as well as concrete coping construction, fence installation, and in-stream habitat restoration.

Cervus Creek Bridge Replacement- Gold River, BC-

Blackbird Industrial was responsible for much of the planning, supervision, and execution of this highly successful bridge replacement project on Highway 29. Project scope included construction and eventual removal of 30m detour road/ bridge as well as demolition and safe removal/ disposal of the 40m existing creosote timber bridge structure. New bridge construction consisted of piling, cast in place "integral" abutment structures, steel girder superstructure, as well as a full depth cast-in-place concrete deck/ approach slabs.
Tamen Creek Culvert Replacement- Rose Lake, BC-

Blackbird Industrial was able to provide key planning, supervision, and tools to fabricate and install a new 40m+ long 5.5mm dia. multiplate culvert complete with cast in place head wall structures. Multiplate structure construction consisted of over 180 individual pieces, 5400+ bolts and a rigid installation/ quality control process.

Kaslo River Bridge Replacement- Kaslo, BC

Blackbird Industrial Ltd. was tasked with providing supervision and various demolition/installation services on several aspects of this project. Activities included: Temporary detour 40m steel girder bridge erection and installation across Kalso river, existing creosote timber bridge removal, demolition, and disposal, excavation, underground utility ( water, sanitary, storm) installation, road grading, paving support, pile driving support, concrete forming, and new bridge erection/ construction.
